Terms of use

By using DentalMagic you accept these terms. They apply together with the privacy policy below.

1. Demonstration only — no guaranteed result

DentalMagic is a demonstration and communication tool. Every image it produces is an AI-generated simulation, not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, not medical advice and not a promise of any clinical result.

AI results vary from one run to the next and may be inaccurate or unrealistic. They are provided “as is”, without any guarantee of accuracy, quality, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

If you are not satisfied with a result, the only remedy offered is the free “Redo AI” option (one new attempt per paid image). DentalMaster is not responsible for a result that does not meet your or your patient's expectations.

2. No refunds

The launch trial is free. Paid image credits, if you buy any, are digital content delivered immediately: to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, credits that have been used are not refundable, and dissatisfaction with an AI result is not a reason for a refund. DentalMagic is reserved for professionals; this clause does not remove any right that mandatory law gives you.

3. The practitioner is responsible

  • You must be a dental professional or a dental student.
  • You alone decide whether and how a simulation is shown to a patient. All responsibility toward the patient — information, consent, expectations, treatment decisions and results — lies with the practitioner, not with DentalMaster.
  • When you show a simulation, you tell the patient clearly that it is an illustration and not a guaranteed outcome.
  • If you use images in advertising or on social media, you follow the rules of your profession and of your country (for example rules on before/after images and misleading advertising).

4. Rights to use the photos

You may upload a photo only if you have the right to use it: the patient (or, for a minor, the parent or legal guardian) has given the consent required by the law of your country — in writing where required — for the photo to be taken, processed by an AI service and shown. You are solely responsible for obtaining and keeping this consent. You agree to hold DentalMaster harmless from any claim resulting from a photo uploaded without the necessary rights or consent.

5. We do not store your images

DentalMaster does not save patient photos or results on its servers. Photos are processed in memory only, location and camera data (EXIF) are removed on arrival, and the result is sent back to your browser. The temporary files used to make an MP4 video are deleted as soon as the video is delivered. The “Redo AI” option keeps nothing on our servers either: the photo stays in your own browser until you leave the page or load another photo. Saving images is done by you, on your own device, under your responsibility.

The image itself is generated by our AI provider, OpenAI, through its API. Under OpenAI's API policy, this data is not used to train its models and may be kept by OpenAI for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deletion.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DentalMaster is not liable for any indirect or consequential damage, loss of patients, revenue or reputation, or for any decision taken on the basis of a simulation. For the free trial, DentalMaster's total liability is limited to zero; for paid credits, it is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event.

7. Service changes and availability

The free version may be changed, limited, suspended or stopped at any time, without notice and without compensation. We may also change the service or these terms at any time. The date at the top of the page shows the current version. Continuing to use DentalMagic after a change means you accept the new terms.

DentalMagic relies on a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) and on other technical providers. We therefore cannot guarantee that the service will be available 100% of the time. We do everything reasonably in our power to keep it running, but interruptions, slowdowns or errors may occur for reasons beyond our control (for example an outage at a provider, a network problem or maintenance). Such interruptions do not give right to any compensation.

8. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where DentalMaster has its registered head office. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the place of that registered office, unless a mandatory rule of law provides otherwise. The registered office details are available on request at support@identalmaster.com.

Privacy policy

1. Important — DentalMagic is a demonstration tool

DentalMagic creates AI-generated smile simulations. They are illustrations meant to help explain a possible treatment to a patient.

A simulation is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan and not medical advice. It does not predict or guarantee any clinical result.

The launch trial is free, for demonstration only, and provided “as is”. It creates no obligation for DentalMaster: we may change, limit, suspend or end the trial or the service at any time, and we give no guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

The practitioner alone decides how a simulation is used and shown to patients, and remains solely responsible for all clinical decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DentalMaster is not liable for any decision or outcome based on a simulation.

2. Who we are

DentalMagic is operated by DentalMaster (registered office details available on request). Contact: support@identalmaster.com.

  • Your account data (as a registered professional): DentalMaster is the data controller.
  • The patient photos you upload: you, the practitioner or clinic, are the controller. DentalMaster processes them only on your instructions, to produce the simulation you request.

3. Data we collect about you

Email address, country, clinic name, role, clinic website (optional), password (stored only in hashed form), chosen language; your choices about promotional emails and the WhatsApp group (and your WhatsApp number if you give it); dates of sign-up, email verification and consents; number of image credits used and dates of generations; the campaign code of your visit; and the IP address used at sign-up, to prevent abuse.

We never ask for patient names, ages, files or health records.

4. Patient photos

  • When you create your account, you confirm that you will only upload a patient's photo with that patient's consent. This confirmation is time-stamped and linked to your account, not to any photo.
  • Photos are used only to produce the simulation you request. Location and camera data (EXIF) are removed as soon as the photo is received.
  • DentalMaster does not keep photos or results. Photos are processed in memory only and are gone once the result is delivered to you, with no backup copy. When you create an MP4 video, its temporary files are deleted as soon as the video is delivered. You download and archive your images yourself, under your own responsibility.
  • The simulation is generated by our AI provider, OpenAI, through its API. Under OpenAI's API data policy, API data is not used to train its models and may be kept for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deletion.

5. Why we use your data

  • To create and run your account and trial — performance of the agreement you accept when signing up.
  • To secure the service and prevent abuse (one trial per practitioner, bots, fraud) — our legitimate interest.
  • To send you news and offers by email — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To add you to the DentalMaster WhatsApp group — only with your consent.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

6. Who processes data for us

  • Our hosting provider (website and database).
  • OpenAI — image generation (United States).
  • Zoho ZeptoMail — verification and service emails.
  • Cloudflare — Turnstile anti-bot check on the sign-up form.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you join the group.
  • PayPal — only if you buy image credits.

Some providers are located outside the European Union, notably in the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep data

  • Sign-ups not confirmed with the email code: deleted after 48 hours.
  • Patient photos and results: not kept (see section 4).
  • Account data: as long as your account exists. A trial account that is not converted is deleted 12 months after the end of the trial.
  • Consent to promotional emails: until you withdraw it.
  • Anti-abuse logs of sign-up attempts: up to 12 months.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to support@identalmaster.com; we answer within one month. You may also complain to your data protection authority (for example the CNIL in France).

9. Security

HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, restricted access and anti-bot protection. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

10. Professionals only

DentalMagic is reserved for dental professionals and dental students. It is not intended for patients or for anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the current version.

Cookies

We only use what is strictly necessary for the service to work. There are no advertising cookies, no audience analytics and no tracking pixels — which is why no consent banner is shown.

You can delete these items in your browser settings. Deleting dm_session signs you out. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

Accessibility statement

We want the DentalMagic sign-up and account pages to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

Standard and status

Target: WCAG 2.2, level AA. Current status: partially conformant (self-assessment, 24 September 2026).

What we have done

  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, and information never conveyed by colour alone.
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
  • Every field has a label; error messages are announced to screen readers.
  • Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content; touch targets are at least 44 px.
  • 11 languages, including right-to-left Arabic and Hebrew.

Known limitations

  • The DentalMagic photo editor (image area, drag handles) cannot yet be fully used with a keyboard or a screen reader.
  • AI-generated images do not come with a detailed text description.
  • The Cloudflare anti-bot check may occasionally ask for an interaction.
  • This legal page is available in English and French only.

Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on computers and mobile devices.

If you meet a barrier, write to support@identalmaster.com with the page and the problem. We aim to answer within 5 working days and to offer an alternative, such as help to register.
